Use the escherlabs 53mm distributor tool between dosing and tamping to uniformly distribute ground espresso in the portafilter basket for repeatable shots.

Diameter: 53.5mm
Designed for a close tolerance fit in 53 mm filter baskets. This tamper fits such machines as the La Spaziale Vivaldi, Lucca A53, Breville Barista Express, and a variety of other (primarily home/prosumer) machines. Tested and fully compatible with IMS 53mm competition baskets.
Finish: Raw machined, Each tool will have a unique and personal character (tooling marks and/or minor finish inconsistencies should be expected).

To adjust your tool for proper depth:
- Unlock the tool by unscrewing the top section from center section.
- Rotate the piston (bottom section) until it reaches the desired depth
- Lock the piston into place by tightening the handle to middle section
