49.94mm Espresso Tamper for "Strietman Baskets" - This UNCOMMON SIZE tool is custom designed for the Strietman espresso CT2 baskets manufactureed by IMS. These baskets have an internal diameter of 49.95-50.0. This tool is a precision fit. (with "guaranteed to fit" free adjustments for your specific machine).
The adjustable espresso tamper can be dialed in and locked to the perfect depth to give a level and repeatable tamp. Get professional results quickly.

Diameter: 49.94mm (UNCOMMON SIZE: Tool is sized to fit both Single and Double dose baskets manufactured by IMS for the Strietman espresso machines such as CT2)
Finish: Raw machined (Bright Aluminum). Each tamper will have a unique and personal character (tooling marks and/or minor finish inconsistencies should be expected)
Piston Adjustment Range: 6mm - 16mm (tamping depth)

To adjust your tamper:
- Loosen the handle by unscrewing the top section from center section.
- Rotate the piston (bottom section) until it reaches the desired depth
- Tighten the handle to lock the piston into place

Tamper for Strietman baskets
I am very pleased with the tamper Escher Labs made for my Strietman baskets. I previously was using self leveling tampers. Not only are the ergonomics of Escher's tamper better, but I am also getting a level tamp. I highly recommend Escher Lab's products. I have the tamper and the leveler.
